Day Three - Magic Kingdom

 J had a hankerin for a Churro.

 SO strong!

Oh  my goodness!  I bet as funny (to everyone but the one up there) as when I got pulled up on stage years and years ago....Bree got picked out of the audience in the little skit at the Horse Shoe Inn in Frontierland.  She was such a good sport.  It was a story all about a bank robbery and the  man dressed up like a lady is the  ugly daughter of a the bank manager I think, and she witnessed the robbery.  When retelling the story, they picked several people out of the audience to play parts.  Bree was a bank teller and had to use all these arm movements to ask people if they wanted to open an account.  Funny!

We reserved a fun BBQ dinner for our entire party, plus a few :-) at the BBQ behind Big Thunder Mountain.  It is an "all you can enjoy" ribs, sausage, chicken, cole slaw, etc....BBQ that seats lots and lots at big picnic tables (we took three)

Aimee, not a big fan of meat, ordered herself a nice HUGE sundae.  That's how she rolls.

Then over to the Tower of Terror.  Katie is only half there, but all the other pictures, because they were late at night, were really dark and you couldn't see the kids.  This is the kids from our party!  Whoo hoo!

Day Two - Cars Land

We had never been to Cars Land.  Boy was it amazing!  Just that they can create that feel like you are really there in the middle of the city!  The Cars Ride was fun too!  We went several times!

 Waiting in line!

 Grace was excited!

David, Thomas and Grace in the front of our car.

 Off we goooooo!

The kids...in our rival car that we were racing.

The Cozy Cone.

David found this tractor ride while waiting for us, and it turned out to be really fun!

then the hover craft ride...where you lean for direction.....

MMmmmmm....let's just say we didn't go very far :-(

Day Two - California Adventure

Day Two was spent in California Adventure.  Just love it.

One of the ole favorites....Tower of Terror!  A must!

We enjoyed a few Mickey Mouse ice cream bars....for mom, of course, so she could live through us while she was with gramps.

 Look Gramoom, all finished!

David and I did California Screamin together!  Love this one too!

David, Katie, and Breeanna did the other rides.

We were so lucky!  the Grizzy River Run had just opened the day we were there!  And then it was closed the next day.  Fun, if not wet, times!   AND....it was right outside our hotel entrance, so if we got too wet, we could have always gone in and changed.  We typically go early enough in the morning, we just dry off in the wonderful California sun!

Magic Kingdom - Day one

 Main Street Disneyland.  Ahhhh.

Look who we found in line for the haunted mansion!!!!  Katie, Chris, Bree and Aim!  It was definately a mistake to take David on the Haunted Mansion for his first ride...with a long wait, and obviously, a problem with the ride.  It took FOREVER...and it didn't seem so worth it...

They made it inside and we were winding around outside still!

Big Thunder!  One of my faves's

 Isn't she Grand??

 Buzz Lightyear!

David and Thomas waiting for Star Tours.

Little snackage after using our fast pass to Splash Mountain later in the evening.

Caught Fantasmic on our way athrough.

Ahhhh,..We have arrived....there it is...the castle.  We did Magic Kingdom the day we arrived.  I am always so amazed how small the Disneyland castle appears as opposed to the one in DisneyWorld.  I was confused the whole time, getting both parks, and where things were located all messed up.  That's a good problem to have I guess...

 Big Thunder Railroad

Isn't this a fun game???  NOT!  Someone puts a sticker on your back and you don't know about it and walk around with it on you?

No words.  None.
