Anthony had his end of the year cheer banquet for the Kentwood Cheer team. They had a yummy catered Mexican dinner and gave awards/letters out to the kids. The teams really did awesome considering all the changes that had to be made mid year! They went from having two squads, to having three squads, changing choreography, and making them an all girl squad for nationals, where they placed 9th, in a super competitive division!! I am sure it was a heart breaking decision and Anthony didn't get to compete in Nationals but he did get to travel with the team, many thanks to Kim.

Anth is so tall! That is nice he was included in the banquet even though he didn't really cheer for them. Are they thinking next year they will have a co-ed team?
I think they hope and try to make it work every year. I think the competition is so intense in the super all girl division that they did this year, they'd like to be in the co ed, which is also intense competition but we have been better prepared for in the past. Yes, they didn't call anyone out except the seniors but they did include him with a letter. I mean really, he did cheer all year long, just until right before Nationals.
