Corn Maze - Secret of the Pharrohs

Spooner Farms 2011

This year we had to park way down the street, the kids were lucky that they had reasonably sized pumpkins, if not a little on the small side, as they have to be able to carry their pumpkins to the car.

Sling shot!

At Spooner Farms they have a sling shot. Every other year we are there, they use tiny little pumpkins, but, apparently, last year they ran out of pumpkins so this year, they are using apples. No big fat huge pumpkin for us for hitting the target...and certainly not for the lack of trying!!!!

Thanks Aunt June and Uncle Marty

For the birthday surprise for the boys!

Moosie May

is always so so sad when her kids leave for school in the morning...

Then she gets over it and gets on with nap time...she's so lady like!

Wishing Tanya a very, very happy birthday!!!!

Suspiscious activity....

This sweet little face is eating everything in sight!!! She busted into Anthony's (clean) room and actually pulled things off of his shelves, like shoes, a book, etc...that she proceeded to EAT!!!! I don't know if eat is the right word, shred maybe???

And yesterday, as Jordan was taking the garbage out...he's like "uhhhh mom....I think you need to come see this.....and look what she brought outside yesterday. Who knows when...she has been crated most of the time. Now that Jordan is done with football, he is home right after school so she can be crated all the time when someone isn't here. Otherwise, it is a long day for her...

Mattson's last game of the season

It was a cold afternoon! Our last game of the season was played against the best middle school team. We lost the game but had some good plays and had two touchdowns so it wasn't a shut out.

There is J, wayyyy over there to the far left hand side...far far away from his team...

I thought last week's game was the game of his life, but it turns out, he was just warming up for several great catches this game!!!

The game was all pink to celebrate cancer awaresness

Movie weekend!

Saturday Jordan chose to go to a movie as a family for his birthday. He chose Real Steel, a fighting robot movie with Hugh Jackman in it. I was really not looking forward to the movie but we all went. It was an awesome!! Actually, a perfect family movie for us. So glad Jordan picked it, out of my movie comfort zone, and then it ending up being really good!

Then Sunday, we met our friends Thomas and Wendy in Bellevue for a little dinner at PF Changs and then a movie at Lincoln Center. We saw Moneyball, a baseball movie. Once again, a movie I probably would not have chosen, but ended up being a great movie!

Jordan Taylor is 14!!!

I seriously cannot believe that my baby boy is 14 years old! but...it happened against my will.

The Carlsen's hosted us for the Husky game and dinner, so....we invited ourselves down for Jordan's party as well! :-)

Our next door neighbor Sloane helped Jordan read his cards. So glad we have the best street in the neighborhood!

Jordan was thrilled with his McDonald cards. I mean seriously....can you imagine how many two cheeseburger meals he can buy with $25????

Love him.

He got a remote control car. Unfortunately, it needed to charge and it was pouring down rain all day. Hopefully he will be able to test it out tomorrow. Thanks Carlsen's, for dinner and hosting the party!
