We had never seen cotton growing before so David ran out to the cotton field on our way from the airport to our hotel to see how it grew. He picked me one so I could show the kids.
Jordan wanted to get his football number from last year (#25) but it was unavailable, so he got #13. I am feelin lucky. I think I like it :-)
Okay....back to the old Kentwood football team we know and love! Great game played last night, too bad David missed it. We beat Tahoma 24 to 17. Anth made some great tackles and blocks!
Frank's sister, Judy, who was only 45 years old, lost her battle with cancer yesterday morning. She fought with grace and humor. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their family.
See that boy with no number lookin all football player-ish listening to coach, standing next to the boy in the black t shirt. He has yellow on his cleats. That is Jordan at practice. Haven't gotten too many other pictures, it is hard when they are in practice jerseys and don't want their mommy taking pictures after practice....I'll continue to try.
Yup. Pure Anthony Paul. This will be his school picture this year. It will proudly be hanging on my wall, and maybe some of your walls. Somehow he got away with it. Most of the others, they confiscated and cut up and made them retake. Not Anth. Makes a mother proud!
And here is my baby. A handsome fairly normal teenager. Thanks Jay Tay!
