Movin in

 And...the transformation begins....

 Guess which shelf is Breeanna's?  I'll give you a hint....it's the second one down :-)

 She took the checklist very seriously (like they reccomended she do) filled out all the spaces, and turned it over to find out there were acronyms for the problems.  Ugh.

 Channing was a huge help to us, carrying stuff up the stairs and helping us put together the shelf. Maybe got a workout he wasn't bargaining for.  Boy was it HARD work!

 Oh those orange carts.  And the horrible line for the elevator.  We decided, since we packed a lot into small boxes for easy packing in the car, that we would just carry her stuff up the 4 flights of stairs.  Oh.My.Goodness.  I only went a few (my knee was hurting from being bent in the car) It was HARD!  We were ALL sweating!

She has a nice view of the pathway to the bridge and the bookstore and street below.  Good people watching if she wanted to!

Goin to dinner

 We went back downtown to meet Channing for dinner.  At a yummy seafood place.  I got delicious fish and chips!

 Then we went to an old old jail facility, I can't recall the name, that was made into a mall and just poked around a bit.

 Then we went to Target....where....THEY HAVE ESCALATORS FOR YOUR CARTS!!!!  We were overtired and had a good time figuring out how to use it...those big city two story Targets!  Got the last of school and dorm supplies.

Yeeeowchie!!!!  Even WITH sunscreen I got roasted at Coronado!  Sheesh!!!

We have arrived...at San Diego State University!!!!

 This bridge is what Bree walks to when she goes over to the student union building or to the "trolley" and to campus.

 We went past the USS Midway, on the ferry to Coronado for the day.

 Coronado Beach, absolutely heavenly!

 Just looks and feels like you think California should look!

 Back by the Midway and by the famous status, that is....ABSOLUTELY HUGE!!!

We have arrived at the Dana

 The Dana view and grounds were absolutely gorgeous. Right on the marina, you can rent paddle boats, jet skis, bikes, etc...just beautiful.

The view from our room, out through the foliage to the pool, where, when we arrived they were showing a Disney movie over the pool.  Neat. 

And we are on the wayyyyy!

 Just ridin in the car....Oh look!  We caught Bree awake!  :-)

 This crop duster flew SO low right over the freeway!

 I don't care for motorcycles driving down the center in traffic.  They make a special lane for a little more cushion, but I still don't like it one bit!

 We caught some beautiful sunsets coming in to San Diego!
