We did the 12K's of Kirkland

 We tried something new this year and did the 12 K of Kirkland.  We stayed in Seattle, did Snowflake Lane and then did the run in the morning.  Mom, Katie, Aimee (who was injured) and Frank walked it.  Robert, Bree and somehow Jordan got talked into it.  It was a dog friendly race too which was fun to see all the dogs.

J somehow managed to do the 12K on a whim.  Goodness!

Snowflake Lane

 We went to Snowflake Lane in Bellevue for the first time.

 J was even a good sport and came!!!

 Jordan found the perfect place to watch...and was shortly joined by many of his "closest" friends.  I thought it was a great idea!!!

 Our closest friends came to celebrate too.

 The lights were really pretty.  The entertainment?  Well, let's just say I only need to see it once...

We remembered and visited many we have lost.  The cemetery has the best view!

Piano recital

 Mom made Katie a pretty dress and shawl for her piano recital.  Katie does love a dress up event, or...just dressing up for a non event even!

Happy Birthday mom!

 Christi made a delicious angel food cake with fresh berries and cool whip inside.  Kind of like a log.

 Didn't have the proper candle numbers so 6  and 3 + 3 = 66 it is.

Ebey's Landing

 Seriously gorgeous

 Jordan decided to try to out run us driving home, so he took off running.  He has to run down the hill, and up the bluff then in to Aimee's house.  Then....Anth got nervous J was going to beat us so he and Katie ran down to the car and headed to Aimee's.  Us girl just walked normally down and headed out.

Jordan got turned around on the trail, it is really hard to decipher whose trail is whose and where they go.  So we walked out to find him, otherwise, he may have come close to beating us!
