Off we go again!

I have had the opportunity to be quite the little traveler!!! This afternoon Anthony and I are heading out for a road trip to Vancouver, Canada for the Sea to Sky Cheer Competition. It will be a long, and late weekend but I hear it is a fun competition to go to, and the ladies that I know are going are fun to be around.

Moosie May is home

Little blurry but hard to take in the vials. These are what they removed from poor Moosle's elbow. Ouchee mama! Walking around with that poking into your belbow. Poor girl.

Safe and sound...poor little girl is not feeling well today. Last night was on a drugged up high I think, today... sad. But if she is uncomfortable, maybe she won't run around for a bit here and let her leg heal....but I still feel bad. She has another bad hair cut...and the surgical center said they had to sedate her because....ummm...she was being...well...a little "vocal" at the hospital. Hers just loves her peoples. And had a few questions for the doc!

Yea. Mmmmhmmmm....

I am getting ready for work, and look out the window and who should appear??? My broken dog ON the trampoline! Where she is NOT supposed to be!!!! Ugh. I almost put my back out trying to get her down....

Taylor Hall, which is a really nice dorm that we are hoping Anthony gets into. It is within walking distance of the practice facility and indoor practice field. It is along the river on the back side.

The blue field....maybe we will go get to watch Anthony cheer for the team on this blue field. I guess it might grow on me....

Bonnie

This is Bonnie. She is Terry's cat. She has 7 toes on each foot and is pretty much a dog. She loved, loved, LOVED Anthony, he even let her sleep with him (he didn't get much sleep) she really really LOVED him!

Headin to Boise

We are heading to Boise for a cheer clinic put on by the Boise State Cheerleaders! We rode on a prop plane and Anth really thought that was cool.

Poor Moosie May.....

Poor Moosie May...again! She has to have surgery. It is scheduled for Wednesday. She has a big bone chip that is really hurting her but this time they are not doing arthroscopic surgery. They are doing lay you up for months kind, poor girl. But hopefully they can really see what is going on, get it all cleaned up and fixed up and she will be able to be a puppy again. I feel so bad for her limping like she does everyday knowing it is painful for her. Guess we will have that ugly chain link cage in our family room....forevaaaaaa!!! Ugh! Good thing she is a sweet sweet baby! This will be hard on everyone.

Tag Team...

David flies in from a training he was at this week in Norfolk, and Anth and I fly out Friday night to Boise State to attend a cheer clinic (I will not be cheering, will spare everyone that frightening spectacle) but Anthony is going to do one day of a two day clinic at Boise State, gonna wow em with his cheer ability so they BEG him to be on their team. Oh, and give him a full ride scholarship too! Wouldn't that be AWESOME! Anyhoo....we fly out later Friday night, get in to Boise, get our car and drive to Terry's house for the night. Then we head out to Boise campus for the clinic, and fly back Saturday night so Anthony can attend his cheer competition in Tacoma on Sunday. I am excited to see it. I haven't seen so many of them he has done and their routine and music have both changed so I am looking forward to going to it!

Love the spring idea I got from Pinterest!!!! Easter grass, jelly beans, Peeps and flowers. Pretty and springy, even though it is snowing again today. Gonna will spring here!

That turned into snow. And some schools in our area were 2 hours late (not ours) and the snow lasted for 2 days!

I drove to work in a blizzard!!!

And the kindergarteners made us snowmen in front of our portable, which the big kids kicked down....nasty big kids!

But then....

Who could be mad at this face??? I looked for her to crate her before heading to work the other morning, and there she was lounging in the sunshine on the hill.

OH! Looky there! HERE it is!!!

Someone has been a bad girl, and is now down to one bed. For two days she worked on her doggie bed and it had to be removed from her crate for fear she would ingest the foam pieces. She is smart like that!

Yayyy J!!!!

Jordan took a reading test in September, and took it again in February and made an 8 point gain!!! That is awesome growth! They hope for a growth of around 2 - 3 points so this is off the charts....so...I guess this means all those nights of fighting him to read are paying off !?!?

Watch Out World!!!!

Tracy has a friend who lets the boys come out to the range and shoot a bit for free!! Can you believe that? Jordan is excited. He wants to do ROTC marksmanship next year for a zero hour (not sure he understands exactly what a zero hour class is) but anyhoo. He got a bulls eye and is excited, so that is great!!!

All is good, right? ummm....

I get this picture from my friend in which I reply, I certainly hope he remembered to pack, or bought sunscreen for goodness sake. Then I receive a text that says....Ummmm...sooo...that was taken moments before his phone suffered a tragic aquatic affliction. He was pushed into the pool moments after taking the picture, tried to throw his phone out, it hit the arm of the chair and bounced in anyway. Total bummer. He has insurance I believe but deductable still $$. Ugh. I hope his team does well and kicks butt! Maybe it will lesson the stress of this trip.

Where is Anthony....I'll give you a clue

It didn't start out to be the best trip ever. I thought his flight was Thursday at 1:18. I got up Wednesday morning telling myself I needed to check him in when I got home from school, all his laundry was done, etc...sent him off to school. And I get a frantic call from my friend that he is traveling with saying they can't get a hold of him. Oh my goodness!!! They were trying to pick him up to head out to the airport and he was at school. Not packed or anything!!!! Thankfully he just got back from Dallas and everything was still kind of in one place, his laundry basket and uniform washed and hung dry. But ohmygoodness. Started my day out completely stressed. He made it, it all worked out fine, my friend isn't even mad!

Jordan's basketball season is over

Jordan's team played a tough two games in the play off's. They were fun to watch! The last game, we lost by 5. And came back from I think it was an 18 point deficit. The other coach approached David after the game and asked if Jordan was his boy. David said yes. And he said, oh my gosh, we didn't know how we were going to defend him, he said thankfully he got into foul trouble so he didn't have to figure it out! Ha! Huge compliment to Jordan and the way he played! Now he is doing weight lifting to prepare for football!

Hot! hot! HOT!

Jordan and his basketball team were hot tonight and stayed alive in the first round of play off's. Boy was Jordan hot tonight! He made almost half of his teams score of 54! They had to get another score sheet for him after the 3rd quarter. Best I have seen him play all year. Guess he saved it for the play offs. Fun to watch and he was happy with himself too, as he should be, so....had to replenish all that he left on the floor with a shake from McDonalds : ) Next game is on Monday!

STILL my birthday!!!!

Anthony thought of me and got me a wonderful scarf for my birthday...I wore it to school with my new yellow jacket from Christmas. Thanks Beek!

All the goods! It was a fabulous birthday and everyone was so thoughtful. Yummy smells and a lunch from friends who know me so well (Carlsen family), a Joann's gift card so I can scrapbook to my hearts content from family, and a whole lot less stress for my Disney trips this spring!!! Yay!!!!
