New toy

Took Jordan to the doctor about his weight and she suggested getting him a juicer to help with vitamins and minerals from fruits and veggies.  So....then we had to make the $40 veggie/fruit grocery trip.

 First up, the Shrek.

 Cheers!

You know how J loves to try new things.  It was good!

veggie wash with vinegar and water

 J didn't love this one.

MORE driving....

Better get used to the driving pictures...

Went to the National cemetary to avoid traffic and practice getting used to the car, turns and brakes

Then to Kentwood to take Lucy May for a ride....and practice parking.  He did a pretty good job!

Dentist!

Time to go to the big boy dentist.  The "safety" glasses no longer fit!  But seriously, it is time.  After he gets his filling taken care of here, I will be scheduling him at the dentist the rest of us see.

DMV

Look at that face...just got our number to hurry up and wait at the DMV in North Bend.

Honestly though, the wait isn't bad.  The DMV does no testing anymore.  They have farmed that out to private companies who have been certified to do that, like Jordan's 911 driving school.

 Niiice!

I LOVE to torture Zach.  He makes it SO easy...

The lady suggested this shot, said a lot of people do it.  We said, say what?  What a GREAT idea!

Celebratory shake, and Diet Dr. Pepper!!!

He didn't drive home from North Bend but we had to go for a little drive around...

Pouring.Down.Rain

A very rainy track meet.  Very.  The pole vault poles were so slippery kids were just slipping down them and not getting near where they normally do.  Jordan, however, managed to do fairly well, but not as well as he would like, which means....he has not broken the freshman pole vault record of 9 feet at a meet. yet.

Mom, Dad, Aimee, Christi and Katie all came down to cheer him on!  I love that about my family!  they support me and my kids, even though it is literally a 2 - 1/2 hour drive for all of a few seconds...

Looky Loo at the landslide

Mom, dad and I headed for a walk down to the landslide.  Scary it is close to home and effects people we know.

The view is gorgeous from the top of the hill

Heading down the hill, by the witch house that is on the other side, before the landslide, but has precariously been sitting in the hill.

When the slide first happened, dad said it was like it just slide, all in tact, down the hill, now the trees are leaning a bit.

 Made it to the beach

Dad and I in/on the slide with the yards of the homes effected right above us

Mom didn't want to go climbing so she stayed on the beach, she wore her Croc's so hiking wasn't so easy.  She sure didn't seem as far away as this pictures makes it seem.

the beach going the other direction, down towards mom and dads side of the bluff.

A few houses were lost here, which isn't up on a bluff from the beach, but pretty soon will be ON the beach.  They have lost quite a bit of yard.   Mom and I used to walk down to this house and feed their animals and water their plants when they were on vacation.  The view is gorgeous, but...

Back up the horrible hill.  We used to push a stroller up this hill every night.   Ugh.  I could barely carry my butt.

Walking to the bluff

We took a little walk out to the bluff.  It was such a gorgeous day!

We made it to the bluff!  So pretty!

 Jordan dragging Breeanna...

 kids taking a rester

J climbed upon a big branch.  Katie wanted help up, but it was so high, I told her if she could climb up herself, she could get up there, but I wasn't going to help her up.  I would stand there to make sure she was safe, but not put her there.  So, she ran out under the branch and you can see her in the back mad.  Silly girl.

Sarah, Hailey, Dane and Carter with Kat.

Jordan tickling people with his wheat

Rufi the bad boy needed to be picked up if other dogs came by.

 Spelling out love

 Iris and Breeanna

Headin back...
