Uncle Dave and Aunt Billie came to visit. They arrived June 26th. I took a "diversity in the workplace" class for 5 hours in the morning, then mom and dad came down and we met at their hotel at the airport for some food and dessert. It was great to see them. Christi and Katie came too. Did a little swimming in the hotel pool. Then I got to hang out with them on Friday as they had all day to kill. They came out to my house and we went to fish and chips (they were havin a hankerin) and went to have a pizza picnic that evening but it was nasty weather, pouring down rain so we (David and I) met at Aunt Dian's church. We got to see Beverly, Tammy and the boys, Todd, and of course, uncle Dick and aunt Dian. I took my camera with the intent on getting some photos of the brothers and sisters together. Yea...best intentions. Totally forgot and only got a few pictures of aunt Billie and uncle Dave, which is better than nothing but I wanted ones of all of them. It doesn't happen that often that we can get them all together. Darn it.
I decided to take the boys to Sky High. It was dead. No one was there. Would have been perfect for the big boys who like to do their fancy schmancy tricks...but they chose not to go this time. Anth tweaked his ankle and between lifting, bouncing and long boarding. Amazingly, it's a little sore and tender.. You don't say...
the boys love love love dodgeball. And they are really good at it.

then...the take down. It didn't go over so well....and that was the end of bouncing.
I saw the cutest toys at Costco for Lucy May and David told me no. And I let it go. However...the next time I was at Costco they were still mocking me (and David was absent) so I picked them up. And Lucy May loved them. Well...I only gave her the lady bug. She slept on it and everything. Her new favorite toy. Can't wait to give her the frog! Poor ladybug though...is currently missing several limbs. But she doesn't tear into them like Buddy did and defluff them. She just kinda, accidentally tears of limb by limb.

Sloane is raising some butterflies. Several had hatched (or whatever you call it when they come out of their crystalis or coccoon or whatever... She came over to show me.
Then she released it into the wild. Fly butterfly, fly away!!!!
