Christi's Challenge

Okay, mom informed me last night that we are challenging ourselves to run one mile a day. Every day. This won't be hard for Aimee who runs miles and miles a day. I just don't make time for it. Too many other things more important than that, and I am NOT a get up at the crack of dawn perform, for anything...except maybe a fabulous vacation....We all just signed up for a half marathon in Bellingham on New Year's Eve day. So....heading out the cheer competition in Eastlake where I will be literally all day. Anth's teams performs at noon and then not until 7. Looong day. Hoping to catch up with Amy in between...So...before I got myself ready for the day, I did it. I actually jogged an entire mile. That is quite a feat, and I wanted to stop. But I didn't. I usually do interval training where I get to walk and recover. I did a 12 minute mile and am perfectly happy with that. So...there. I did it! Now on to a much needed shower, breakfast and organizing my day....

Moosie is missing her daddy

We dropped David off at the airport on our way home from the walk. Back off to Oceanside California for the week. He'll be home on Saturday. I wish I had my camera out, we dropped him off and as we are driving out of the airport, Moosie May was crying facing backwards in the back of the car for David. She missed him sooo much she drug his sweatshirt that I had folded on the stairs all the way out to the living room and fell asleep on it. Poor baby. She has it so rough when he's gone!

Memorial Walk

Yesterday ( December 13) was the 4 year anniversary of Jan's passing. I can't believe it has been that long! We did our annual walk to the cemetary to just think about everyone that is buried there. This year, unfortunately, we also remembered Uncle Steve, and Claude Harvey, Jan, of course, and Gram Vi as well as Grandma and Grandpa Wilson...The weather held out and it was cold, but didn't rain. Mom, Christi, Aimee, Bree and Katie and I all rushed back from the Jingle Bell run so we could be a part. This year, Andy, Mid, their dog Ruby, mom, dad, Aimee (Robert met us halfway) Breeanna (Rufi is a bad boy so he didn't come because there would be other dogs there) me, David, Anth, Jordan and Moosie May, June and Marty, Jerry and Nancy even came all the way over to walk, Tony and Cooper made the trip as well, and Judy Harvey walked with us too. I think it is the perfect thing to do in Jan's memory. Walk that walk, in particular, that she did so many times with her Barkley, and bringing our dogs with us too.

Funny face picture, of course! Cuz that's how we roll!

Carousel at Westlake Center

Katie, Aim, and Bree

Trying to get pictures but didn't ever get any real good ones...

Here are the wusses who didn't even attempt to go on the ride! For fear of motion sickness for the rest of the drive home. NO fun! We opted out :-)

Jingle!!!!!!

Getting ready to head out!

At the start...

Found gramoom but Christi was still tryign to navigate the stroller. Not an easy thing to do with SOOO many people!!!! Especially at the start!

Here we are around halfway or so...in the express lanes tunnel.

We see the finish line!!! Katie started jogging!

Cheer!!! In Portland

Mom and I went down to Portland to watch South's first competition at the Portland Metropolitan Expo Center. We stopped and did a little, and I mean a little, not much, shopping at the outlet mall in Centrailia (hellooooooooo Bath and Bodyworks OUTLET!!!!!!) and then on to the venue. Got there, saw several South teams perform, then Anthony's. And this....turned into....

THIS!!!!

Ally had quite a tumble down from the pyramid and hurt her back/neck and they took all precautions. Ended up getting a ride in an ambulance and lots of x rays!

The clown came in and did tricks for us. Made the time go by faster...

Lunar eciplise

To add to the tiredness that was this weekend...mom, Jordan and I woke up to see the lunar eclipse early early Saturday morning. AND we realized, that Jordan can wake up if he WANTS to! At 4 am for something yet not at 7 am for school...hmmm....anyhoo....it was so cool. I am so glad he woke us up to check it out. And when the moon was red, it was really really dark dark red. They mean it when they say blood red! My camera can't take great pictures from that far away but I liked them anyway....
