Anthony and Tyler!!!!

Anthony, Kim and Tyler

Kim talking about the kids. As with football, it is so hard to believe this is it. But this is it. This is the last high school sport Anthony will play. Ever. Wow!

The Vancouver Convention Center

Such Washington weather...rainy...which it did for the most part, however, we had some sun breaks as well...

Anthony's team did really really well! they got first place and Grand Champion, however, they already have a full paid bid to world's so the other South Elite team was trying to get a partial paid bid. This was a competition that I really liked. I liked the venue, it was reasonably priced, the floor was in a good position and light enough you could see, well run. I just really liked it.

Look! Blue Sky!

No words necessary

Fun times at Granville Island

This funny street performer stood a suitcase, on top of a table, then balanced on skatebaord. he got 3 volunteers from the audience, guess who??? Anthony Paul! Of course....I'm glad I caught part of it because I was wondering the art stores across the street....he was a great performer though.

Granville Island

We went with some friends to Granville Island, not too far from Vancouver. I guess it was about an hour walk, which I want to do one day, but we didn't have time to do that with competitions and all. It reminded me of Pike Place and we ate our way through it!

The hugest apples and grapes I have ever seen! Crazy big!

Gorgeous flowers! These orange ones were $6 a piece. The Canadian to American rate was 1 : 1 most places. But still, if you gave them American money, you received Canadian change back. We didn't come home with too much but a little less than $10 in Canadian...in case anyone is heading up to Canada...

Delicious HUGE cinnamon roll we "shared"

I got a breakfast crepe, ham and cheese. Yum! They had crepe places all over! Like stands that were open till 11 pm on the street, with a line...

Days Inn hotel

We stayed at the Days Inn. It was right downtown, close proximity to many many things. The rooms were very small, and we were sharing a queen bed, the bathroom was teeny tiny, which we could have dealt with. As it ended up, our room was without power for half of it for our entire stay. The poor girls at the desk...but it was difficult. It was so tiny, there was NO light whatsoever, thankfully, our friends happened to have a tiny flashlight so we used it so Anth could shower. It would have been downright dangerous in the dark. I did get a free breakfast and it was most delicious. Anth got home too late so he slept in.

Pheush!

I am thankful I am not like some friends of mine, who, at the last minute didn't even know if they should buy tickets to graduation or not...just need to keep our act together...
