Jordan got a helicopter for Christmas that was kind of cheap and broke even though he wasn't being mean to it. David came home to our local hobby shop and got him another one. He likes it a lot. They were playing with it and right after this, the wind came up and it smashed into the house and cracked it's casing. The great thing about this one is that all the pieces are replaceable, so, when he broke the landing gear, we went to the hobby shop, the guys are really helpful, and bought some new ones (for a reasonable $5) I think Jordan will get a lot of use out of this....

Geocaching in Covington
Jordan and I out geocaching. We found this cache at a local park. Took us awhile searching and then duh....there it was!
We brought Moosie May, next time she really will stay home. We had to walk down the Soos Creek trail so we got a drag in anyway. Hard with other dogs going by and trying to find it, always having to pay attention to whether she was going to bolt or not. This is the perfect hiding spot!!!! And not too hard if you read the clues.
Jordan signed us in, did a self portrait, it was getting dark so we called this our last find and headed home....

Lucy's new temporary digs
Lucy's surgery date is looming (January 13th) so we are trying to prepare for her not to be really mobile, while still being with her peoples (which she likes) So....David ordered (invested) in a big cage that we can actually use in nicer weather outside for her. But, for now, this monstrosity sits in my family room. Quite the decoration, don't you think?
THAT'S the one who should be caged right there :-)
Lucy doesn't mind it at all. As a matter of fact, this morning I was going to leave her out because she has been really good lately (but everyone was home too) and was all sprawled out on the couch and I didn't have the heart to wake her up and she heard me getting ready and loaded up and she got herself up and plopped right down in her bed (not this photo) and I gave her treats, locked the door and off I went. She is really good about being crated. I don't think she minds it at all. Just part of her everyday life.

But this is how much room it takes up!!!!!!!!
Gnome update...
Not much to report. I actually think it is too cold to grow. Think it needs a little warmer temps, but David doesn't believe me, so...he is still trying!
The gift...
This what Jordan chose to do instead of geocache!!! Assemble a fireplace, really??? Such a guy! For Christmas, Christi and Frank got a cool electric fireplace with storage on the sides. It was so big it had to be taken apart and brought upstairs. They have the perfect wall for it!
Frank, with his (non)help, although I'm sure he was just fine with that.
She fits perfectly
Assembled and ready to rock and roll. I'm sure many a nights will be spent in front of it!
