Pretties!!!!

I got a nice surprise when I got home from work today. I was very thankful I rethought my plan to immediately get into my pajamas after coming home from work and opted for sweats instead!!! These beauties arrived!

With a card that read "Celebrating the 14 year anniversary of your 29th birthday!"

A pretty sparkly bow on the red vase

Just beautiful, thanks dear!

Off to Dallas!

Anth is off to Dallas for cheer, so proud of his neat and tidy packing job!

Someone is going to miss her boy.

As per a new tradition started with High School Nationals....a big batch of chocolate chip cookies seems to do the trick!

Feeling better...then not.so.much

Jordan had some real food after he got home from school yesterday. Rice and salmon, then he played in his basketball game, apparently....too much, too soon and he was sick again with a fever and not feeling well this morning...trying to feed him every few hours to get his stamina back up...he will have the weekend to rest up...

It is one of the happiest times of the year!!!!

Girl Scout cookies!!!! Makes me miss the good old days of spending two days at the sewing expo with mom! Schedules just don't permit any longer...

It is fantastic that one of our favorite Girl Scouts lives down the street and we receive swift delivery of the goods! Now...if I can just keep my mitts off. I know David ordered them from several people so we should have enough to awhile....and he left for Oaklahoma City early this morning so he won't have to deal with the craving of knowing they are in there. Maybe I'll put them in the freezer....WAIT! I love, love, love them frozen....

Another one bites the dust....

My poor poor JayTay....he hasn't been sick in a long time so hopefully this passes like it used to and tonight he will be feeling like his old self....

Tubing at Snoqualmie

It used to be a yearly tradition, but we have gotten away from it, but this year we made it up to Snoqualmie Tubing Center to go tubing. My close up group picture turned out blurry so I just have the far away one...

Aime & Bree

me & J

Christi, Frank, Katie and dad in line for the rope tow. I normally walked up the hill, we could walk up, even if slow, and get in one more run before they were off the rope tow at the top, so kinda double the runs....

Unfortunately, there was an accident at the ski slope and they had to bring in a medi-vac helicopter which landed in the parking lot of the tubing hill.

Gangsta Bree and Jordan waiting for the rope tow.

Breeanna being beaten up by Katie.

Katie going up the rope tow with Jordan

the line for the rope tow, which is why we walked up the hill

trudge, trudge, trudge....

Dad taking pictures of me, taking pictures of him!

Me and Kat before we went down our run together

Christi chillaxin on the rope tow up

Bree, mom and Aim trudge trudge trudging...

Sweet picture!

Jordan and Bree raced. J won.

Catastrophie!

Ohmygoodness Moosie May! She knocked off Jordan's VW Bus and it broke into lots of pieces...Oh my! Thankfully, without directions I believe, Jordan put her all back together...good as new...and no pieces missing - Pheush! Crisis averted. Damn dog!

Cheer

I can't remember if I said anything or not...so far behind. But....Anthony and Ally got 10th in the nation for partner stunting. It was their first year entering and they were thrilled!

And today, Kentwood Silver competed in the first ever high school worlds and received 3rd place! Pretty exciting! Now, tonight, Hollywood Studio's shuts down and has a block party for all the cheerleaders! Can you imagine? When we were there, we stayed far, far away! I hope they enjoy their last night there. It's been so hard for me not to be there, but I had a cheer mom, and Anthony who kept me in the loop but I thought about them all the time. The feeling is just electric and exciting!!! Anyhoo...he'll be home tomorrow late!

5th in the Nation!!!!!

The Kentwood Silver cheer team took 5th in the Nation at Nationals in Orlando yesterday. So proud of them! So many of them got sick with the outbreak of yuck at Comcast Arena last weekend. Takes a lot out of ya! In a very competitive division they went in to Nationals in 7th place, nailed their last performance and got 5th place over all! Yayy! Today they are getting ready to perform in the first ever high school worlds! Much luck to the kids!!!!!

Anthony is off to Orlando!

for the high school nationals! C-O-N-K-S......GOOOOO Conks!!!!!! Wishing them lots of luck and a fantastic time! This is its for him. He is a senior! His last high school nationals in Orlando. Wish I could be there, but can't make em all....

Sick!

I was all good to go, enjoyed our superbowl party and all the snacks, came home on Sunday and about 1 am I started to feel sick. And boy was I sick. I don't remember ever being that sick !!! I was violently ill for all of Sunday night and Monday until like 5 pm. That's a loong time! I had to take off Tuesday from work because I just didn't feel well still. Come to find out, there were a huge number of people sick, all had attended the the WIAA Cheerleading Competiton at Comcast Arena in Everett on Saturday. Several had to be hospitalized they were so sick. thankfully I didn't have to go to the doctor or anything and I could just rest. Those poor cheerleaders were all sick on their way back from the cheer competition in Salem and they flew out at 6 am this morning for high school nationals. I just hope they feel well enough to make a good showing. We are very competitive down there and have done very well in the past, I hope this doesn't factor into how we do. Everyone sick and exhausted from being sick. Ugh. On the mend though and feeling much better. I didn't even eat anything there so I am assuming it was something in the air. The state department of health is still investigating.

The moon

From my front driveway. It was so beautiful! And kinda scary with the clouds around it....it looked cool though.

Superbowl Time!

Well, really, I was all about the snacks, didn't really watch the game but to give Anthony, who was in Salem Oregon at a cheer competition updates on the score. But I did like the half time show. And didn't see many commercials actually...

snackage

Papa Larrie, June and Marty, Lark, David and Frank all watched the game...

Nappage for all the kids
