Our school does the same thing. The buses go around twice and everyone cheers. They used to honk the horns.
Ours do honk their horns, but not able to do a go around a few times, plus on a time crunch to get everyone home I imagine...we are one of the latest start/release schools in our district I think. Last year seemed the entire grass was covered in people, this year, the weather wasn't quite as great.
