John T Williams totem pole

They had a really neat memorial to John T Williams, the wood carver who was shot and killed by a police man while whittling (as Anth would say dwittling) on a board while walking downtown.

The City of Seattle has commissioned John's brother, who looks exactly like him! To carve a totem pole to be erected on the one year anniversary of his death. His brother was there working away on it. No small task, but a very appropriate remembrance of his brother.
