Skippin Rocks on Whidbey

Jordan went to Camp Gramoom and Papa Paul again this year for the week after football camp, before weight lifting and speed camp resumes.  He is going to "intern" with Frank's brother Rick, who pours concrete just to see what the whole industry is about...

Here he is teaching Katie how to skip rocks!  What a nice cousin.

Dog loves boy.

Trying to Drive home.....If You Give A Mouse A Cookie style...

So....helped Bree organize, clean her room (it looks awesome) and Aim was driving me back to mom and dads house and we saw the most gorgeous, vibrant double rainbow.

Then J pointed out, you can see BOTH ends!  That is so cool...we must run to the highest place near us to try to get pictures, which was the Sunnyside Cemetary...no luck...but got gorgeous pictures....

Then we decided to go out to Ebey's Landing and see if we could get a picture of it there!

Look at this cool fort on the beach!

There it is!  How beautiful is that????
Then we turn around the other way and the sunset is so gorgeous!!

 More rainbow!!!!

 Sun is setting quickly.....

The sky was just so vibrant, pictures do not do it justice!

Then, on the way home, the Port Townsend ferry was coming in, with the gorgeous sky, so we had to take pict

Van 2 - Legs 31 - 36 for 33.6 miles

Sarah running along Ebey's Landing to the Admiral's Pool for Leg 31, 7.7 HARD miles!

 Sarah

 Being silly

Coming up from Ebey's Landing.  Aimee using our flags so as not to receive a safety violation!

Almost there for Sarah....the sign by the Port Townsend ferry...

Christi is off for Leg 32 - 4.8 moderate miles, most of them not van supported, running to the Pull off by the Greenbank Farm

 Along the highway

 By Donahey Rd

The Greenbank Farm Pull Out...Christi in, Aimee out.

Leg 33 of a very hard 6.8 mile jaunt for Aim.

 Looking fresh as a daisy!

Her cheerleaders, once again....using the safety flags so as not to receive a safety violation!

Coming into Bush Point's transition we saw 3 bucks and a doe in someone's yard.

Aimee in at Bush Point, and mom out for Leg 34, a 5.8 moderate wog to Freeland Park

I can't believe mom's is considered "moderate" it was a lot of long hills and in the heat of the day.

 Fast as lightening!

This was just one of mom's hills!!!!!

Mom in, Joline out for Leg 34, 5.8 moderate miles to Bay View Road.

For some reason, I didn't get Joline's Leg 35 for 3.8 "easy" miles nor Bob running Leg 36 for 4.7 "moderate" miles coming in to the finish at the Island County Fairgrounds!

Van 2 - Legs 7 - 12

Vans met at Bellingham High School, and Van 2 was ON TIME this year!  Last year poor Sarah had to be ripped out of the safety meeting to go run, this year we planned a little better....

But...that is how fast Andy is...I didn't even get him.  I don't have any pictures of Van 1 besides when we were switching off.  I will have to check with dad, who would have been the only one taking photo's of that van...otherwise, what happened in Van 1, stays in Van 1.  But what happened in Van 2, is on the internet!!!!!

I can't remember who I handed my camera off to, but whoever it was (it wasn't me) felt it important enough to get proof of Christi waiting in line for the porta potty.  They're her favorite!

Sarah ran leg 7 starting at Bellingham  High School to Lake Padden.  It was 6.5 miles and hard.  She handed off to Christi who ran to Samish Way for Leg 8, which was 2.8 "easy" (is running ever EASY???)

Heeeere she comes....Miiiiiiss America!!!!!  Christi running into the transition on Samish Way in Bellingham looking strong!!!!

Aimee patiently waiting (or not) for Christi to come in to the transition

The hand off to Aimee for Leg 9 who ran to the Alger Fire department - 6 "moderate" miles

We cheered Aimee on along Samish Way

Check out how fast she is...her hair flying in the wind!

Mom  at the Skagit Speedway for Leg 10 which was 3.1 "easy" (again....really....EASY!?!) miles handing off to Joline who ran to Edison Elementary School for Leg 11 which was 6.8 hard miles!

Joline handing off to Bob (our only guy) at Edison Elementary school for 6.8 hard miles.

Bob is off and running for Burlington Edison High School!

Fast as lightening...in for the Van Exchange at Burlington Edison High School

Off goes Jeff for Van's 1's second legs.
